Chernovtsy – one of the most beautiful regional centres of the Western Ukraine. Since its Austro-Hungarian empire name «small Paris». The beginning Chernovtsy takes from Old Russian fortresses which existed on the left coast of the Rod till 1259 and has been destroyed by mongolo-tatar conquerors. Since feudalism there is in Chernovtsy the Nikolaev church erected in 1607 from oak bars. To local sights the cathedral, the Armenian church, station and city theatre also belong. And a pearl of Chernovtsy is the former residence of Bukovynsky the metropolitans, constructed in 1862-1882 Now here – the main case of Chernovitsky national university.

Because the city developed during the period of board of various empires (Austro-Hungarian, Polish), a city architectural ensemble has got characteristic features of each epoch. Departure in Vashkovtsy.

On a national carnival Vashkovetsky Malanka where thousand visitors from all Ukraine every year gather. Traditions of our ancestors here have remained and are supplemented in the new images and until now. Participation in competitions, ceremonies.

Departure on a mounting skiing resort of Migovo. Skiing, a sledge, snowboards. The base is equipped by three mountain-skiing lifts: for skilled professional mountain skiers and subjugators of a snowboard (1300 metres), for interested persons to be trained in downhill skiing, skill and technics of a snowboard on a management of skilled instructors (extent of 600 metres). Also all interested persons can go skating.

Excursion on the Hotinsky fortress and on Hotinu.

One of the most considerable monuments of architecture past arts in the Western Europe is the Hotinsky fortress. Its walls in height to 30-40 m and of 5-6 m, earthen shaft with bastions and deep ditches cause thickness a great interest in all who visits this fortress over Dnestr. Events of military history of a fortress underline its power. A major landmark in the history of a city and a fortress was Hotinsky war.

In 1621 40 thousand army led by Peter Sagajdachny has rescued poles from defeat, having warned threat of an attack a Turk on Earth Ukraine and the Eastern Europe. In the beginning of a XVIII-th century Turks, following requirements developing a military technology, erect by means of the French engineers new constructions. Materials of excavation and the documents concerning a city history and fortresses, are exhibited at the Hotinsky istoriko-museum of local lore existing since 1963.

In a fortress passed shootings of popular films: «Zahar the Golden eagle», «the Ballad about valorous knight Ajvengo», «Three musketeers», «Arrows Robin of the Buzzing», «Taras Potatoes». In 2007 the Hotinsky fortress was included into the list of "7 Miracles of Ukraine».
